A leisurely 3 hour guided stroll will take you through the history of Old Colombo, also known as Pettah, and the city's rich heritage. Learn about the city's development under Portuguese, Dutch, and English authority as well as how some customs are still used in daily life.

As you go along Main Street and observe the morning come to life as people set up shop, savor a freshly cut King Coconut, or "Thambili" as it is known locally, and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Pettah Bazzar. See some of the old currencies of Sri Lanka while visiting oddities like the largest chandelier in South East Asia.

Then we will visit a cafe where the iconic Duran Duran song Save a Prayer was filmed while on the tour.

Have a beverage in a neighborhood café before continuing on York Street past British colonial structures and into the fort area. The tour concludes with a stop at the Dutch Hospital, the oldest surviving Dutch structure in Colombo, which is said to have been constructed about 1681 at the very least. Here, you may enjoy a drink or a meal at one of the numerous top-notch eateries.
